Infinity Care Hospital provides Advanced Interventional & Non Invasive Cardiology Services. The state-of-the-art Cardiac Care procedures, provided to the ailing cardiac patients include:
Primary Angioplasty (in an acute heart attack case)
Multi Device Placement.
Cardiac surgery (CABG – coronary artery Bypass)
Trans Aortic Valvular Replacement
Valvular Heart Disease
Surgery & Trauma
It is a procedure that uses X-ray imaging (Cath lab) to see your heart’s blood vessels. This test is done to see if there’s a restriction/blockage in blood flow going to the heart.
Angioplasty opens blocked arteries and restores normal blood flow to your heart muscle. It is not major surgery. It is done by threading a catheter (thin tube) through a small puncture in a leg or arm artery to the heart.
Open Heart Surgery
Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is a type of surgery that includes grafted artery or vein bypasses (that is, goes around) the blocked portion of the coronary artery and improves blood flow to the heart.
Inferior vena cava (IVC) filter insertion is predominantly used to prevent blood clots travelling from your legs or pelvis to the lungs. A filter is placed in the IVC, a large abdominal vein that returns blood back to the heart.
Left atrial appendage occlusion or closure
The left atrial appendage (LAA) is a pouch connected to the left atrium of your heart, one of the heart’s upper chambers. When the LAA doesn’t squeeze consistently, such as in atrial fibrillation,
The WATCHMAN device has been approved by the FDA:To reduce the risk of thromboembolism from the LAA in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation who are at increased risk of stroke and systemic embolism and for whom anticoagulation therapy is recommended.
Mitra Clip (Mitral regurgitation)
A MitraClip® therapy is a minimally invasive alternative treatment to valve repair or replacement surgery. Mitral regurgitation is a condition that occurs when the mitral valve does not close properly.
Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI)
Your consultant may recommend transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) if they feel that conventional open heart surgery isn’t the right approach for you.
Peripheral stents are small tubular metal scaffolds that can be inserted in the peripheral vessels to treat narrowing or blockage within arteries or veins, resulting in improved blood flow.
The carotid arteries are located on each side of your neck. These are the main arteries supplying blood to your brain. They can be clogged with fatty deposits (plaque) that slow or block blood flow to the brain — a condition known as carotid artery disease — which can lead to a stroke.
Balloon valvuloplasty is a minimally invasive procedure which has a much shorter recovery time than open heart surgery. It involves passing a thin plastic tube (catheter) through a large blood vessel into your heart.
An electrophysiology study is a test to measure the electrical activity of the heart and to diagnose arrhythmia or abnormal heart rhythms. Catheter ablation is a procedure performed to treat some types of arrhythmia.
Device Closure Intervention
The device is folded or attached on to a special catheter, similar to the catheter used during your catheterization. The catheter is inserted into a vein in the leg and advanced into the heart and through the defect.
